Description

Malus domestica Rosemary Russet - Mid Season

Description of Rosemary Russet Trees & Fruit:

Rosemary Russets are rough looking apples with a variable amount of russeting. They are juicy, with a strong flavour that is more sharp than sweet. The flesh is firm and quite crisp. The tree has an upright habit and crops very well. Its bright red flower buds and lovely peach-pink blossom stand out from most other apple trees.
Also known as Benskin's Russet.

Our Rosemary Russet Cordons are grown on dwarfing "M9" rootstocks.

Rich soil is important - dig in plenty of good manure and compost before planting.
Soil drainage must be good, although apple trees do like clay soil.
