Growing Hardy Ethiopian Banana
Full sun or partial shade. Shelter from wind and a rich well drained soil are necessary for it to thrive.
Best bought inside over winter especially in Northern regions. If left outside in Southern areas cut the leaves down in autumn and mulch heavily over top to protect from frosts. When you prune out dead leaves, only cut off the leaf itself right at the base of the blade, not any further down.
