Blairii No 2 Climbing Rose Bushes

The Blairii No 2 climbing rose can grow to 5 metres in optimum conditions but is more likely to reach 4 metres. Bred (astonishingly by Mr Blair) in 1845, Blairii No 2 roses have lovely mid-pink blooms that fade almost to white at the edges and are extremely fragrant. The flower head is unusually flat for a bourbon climber rose and in good conditions will repeat flower well.

They respond well to good feeding - we would recommend organic rose fertiliser and a good mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost every spring - you will be well rewarded.

Pretty much the same treatment applies, by the way, to all the roses you will find listed on our main rose pages. See our full range of climbing roses available to buy online.

Planting times for barerrot plant is November to April
